Privacy Policy

Information we collect
- Account information: email address, Firebase user ID, account creation time, and authentication status. Passwords are processed by Firebase Authentication; Remember4u does not store your raw password.
- Reminder information: reminder titles, descriptions, notes, schedules, repeat rules, priority, completion status, snooze status, and reminder preferences that you enter in the app.
- Notification information: notification permission state, Android FCM device token, delivery method, reminder delivery attempts, and acknowledgement events such as done, snooze, or missed.
- Local app settings: onboarding state, theme, language, notification preferences, and widget configuration stored on your device.
- Support information: messages you send to support, including your email address and the details you choose to include.
Remember4u does not collect your contacts, phone call history, SMS content, precise location, photos, microphone recordings, or payment card data.
How we use information
- To create and manage your account.
- To save, synchronize, schedule, send, retry, and display reminders.
- To provide push notifications, call-style reminder screens, and home-screen widget data.
- To respond to support, safety, or account deletion requests.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and keep the service reliable.
Permissions
- Notifications: used to send reminder alerts and action buttons.
- Full-screen intent, foreground service, wake lock, exact alarm, and boot completed on Android: used so important reminders can appear at the scheduled time.
- Call-style permissions on Android: used for incoming-call-style reminder screens. Remember4u does not read call logs or contacts.
Your choices and deletion
You can update reminders in the app, turn off notifications or call-style reminders in settings, log out, and request deletion of your account and associated data. To request deletion, visit the account deletion page: remember4u account deletion.
Some limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or backup integrity, and will be deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
Security
We use Firebase infrastructure, access controls, and encrypted transport to help protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfect, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Remember4u is intended for general productivity use and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
